Natalya Davison

Natalya Igitkhanyan Davison - The Founder of Artistic Motion School of Arts, the organization which went on to create Triad International Ballet, Natalya studied at the Armenian Choreographic Academy as well as GITIS, the world-renowned Moscow State University of Dramatic Art. She specializes in Ballet and international folk dances, with over 25 years of teaching experience.  Known for her enthusiasm, caring nature and advocacy for all facets of the performing arts, Natalya continues to share her passion and knowledge throughout the community.  “Miss Natasha" - as she is fondly called by her students – is a “maker of stars”.  She creates Artists, not just Dancers.  She has a true gift in the way she brings forth her teaching expertise through her unique attention to artistry, emotional performance, technical excellence and physical (almost orthopedic) detail.  Combining all of this with her deeply caring attitude towards her students, she has an ability to transform any dancer (young or old) into one who displays technique, strength and grace far beyond even their own wildest dreams.

Natalya has already made the company’s international aspirations a reality.  She attracts students and dancers from around the world.  In recent years, her students have enjoyed a 100% acceptance rate to some of the most prestigious summer intensive programs being run today and many of her students have received further international recognition including acceptance into other major ballet companies and several are regular finalists at renowned international ballet competitions.

Natalya is originally from Armenia but has been living here locally in Greensboro since 1998 together with her husband Dex, their children and their faithful little dog.
