Olivia Boutin joined Triad International Ballet in 2025 and is excited to take the stage as Mercedes in Don Quixote, bringing her vibrant flair to this role. She previously captivated audiences as Snow Queen in The Nutcracker, making a striking debut with the Company. Originally from Plymouth, Massachusetts, Olivia began dancing recreationally at age 9 in a weekly ballet/tap/jazz class. She quickly fell in love with the art form and continued to train at a local competition studio before transitioning to classical ballet at age 13. Olivia studied for 5 years at South Shore Ballet Theatre under Donna Silva, Marthavan McKeon, and Harunaga Yamakawa-Moser. In 2021, Olivia advanced her training at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, where she refined her artistry under Jennet Zerbe, Laura Martin, and Eva Draw, graduating in 2025 with a BFA in Classical Ballet. In 2024, she joined Roanoke Ballet Theatre, making her debut as one of Dracula’s Brides in Norbert Nirewicz’s Dracula. Alongside her dance career, Olivia is passionate about physical wellness and cross-training. She participates in weightlifting, yoga, and pilates. In 2023, Olivia became a certified personal trainer and appreciates sharing her knowledge to help others discover the benefits of movement and strength.
