Company Dancer

Olivia Boutin

Triad Ballet Roles:

Originally from Plymouth, Massachusetts, Olivia Boutin began dancing recreationally at age 9 in a small ballet, tap and jazz class held weekly at the town hall. She quickly fell in love with the art form and dedicated her time at a local competition studio for the next few years. At age 13, she began transitioning from competitive dance to classical ballet at South Shore Ballet Theatre, studying for five years under Donna Silva, Marthavan McKeon, and Harunaga Yamakawa-Moser. In 2021, she entered the next step of her training at The University of North Carolina School of the Arts. Here, Olivia has honed her skills through years of training under the guidance of Jennet Zerbe, Laura Martin, and Eva Draw, graduating in 2025 with a BFA in classical ballet. In 2024 Olivia joined Roanoke Ballet Theatre making her debut as one of Dracula's Brides in Norbert Nirewicz’s production of Dracula. Here, she continues to use dance as a creative outlet, letting herself experiment with roles, and push the limits of her abilities. Alongside her schooling, Olivia has dedicated time to related interests, including weightlifting, yoga, and pilates. In 2023 she became a certified personal trainer and plans to share her expertise with those who are looking to find the benefits of exercise.
