Gevorg Khachatryan is an educator and former professional ballet dancer originally from Yerevan, Armenia. He began his movement training as a professional gymnast at the Albert Azaryan Olympic School before transitioning to classical ballet. In 2009, Gevorg was accepted into the Yerevan State Choreographic College, where he completed 8 years of intensive training. After graduating in 2017, Gevorg joined the Armenia National Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet, performing in major classical productions including Don Quixote, Giselle, Spartacus, Carmen, and Gayane. In 2018, Gev moved to the United States through a cultural exchange program, continuing his professional development at Artistic Motion School of Arts under the direction of Misha Tchoupakov, BJ Sullivan, and Natalya Davison. In 2022, he was appointed Principal Dancer with Triad International Ballet, performing featured roles such as Basilio and Espada in Don Quixote, Cavalier in The Nutcracker, and the Golden Idol in La Bayadere. Teaching at Artistic Motion School of Arts and UNCSA Preparatory Dance Program, he is a certified instructor in the American Ballet Theatre National Training Curriculum and integrates ABT principles with Vaganova methodology to bring technical clarity, strength, musicality, and artistry to his students. He is currently pursuing a BA in Arts Administration.
