Development

Carol Franklin is a sometime student and longtime lover of dance in all its genres—but especially ballet, which she loves for its beautiful combination of athleticism and aesthetics.
Carol was thrilled and impressed when she first saw Triad International Ballet’s production of Sleeping Beauty three years ago. She immediately knew she wanted to support the company—and help spread the word about the exciting work happening right here in the Triad.
A longtime supporter of the arts and her community, Carol has served on the boards of the Green Hill Center for North Carolina Art and the United Arts Council, now the Arts Council of Greater Greensboro. She believes wholeheartedly that the arts are a vital part of a thriving community, contributing to both our cultural and economic well-being. In her words, “Everybody wins!”
She is especially enthusiastic about what is happening at Triad International Ballet. “With the wonderful leadership of Artistic Director Natalya Davison and Executive Director Susannah Eichman, the company brings full-length classical ballet to the Triad at a professional level. Bravo!”
